  1. From the album: San Brickardo

Part 2 of the "Populating the streets of San Brickardo" project started a short while back with my Mercedes Benz is here! But this time it isn't in the form of a car brand, instead its a "type" of vehicle I had wanted to create for San Brickardo for a while now, taxi cabs. These particular cabs are owned by San Brickardo Taxi Co (as seen by the logo on their sides), one of the many companies employed by San Brickardo Public Transit to run taxi services in the city. Both taxies can fit 2 minifigures (driver, passenger) and a small piece of luggage. The front cab is a modded version of @ Josh s Crown Vic with custom decals, while the second cab is a completely custom Toyota Corolla (I know it looks weird and ugly but IMO the real one is weird and ugly so it works) with opening rear compartment. Both models feature removable roofs and easily interchangeable ad boards I hope to customize with some ironic and funny adds in the future. I needed to take a break from a couple of large projects I was working on (SBPD Internal Affairs Office and SBFR Station 4) and creating a couple taxies to feature in backgrounds and possibly future scenes seemed like a good idea! Now back to working on the larger projects... What do you think of these cabs? What should part 3 be?

  2. From the album: San Brickardo Police Department (SBPD)

Detectives from the 8th Precinct received their new detectives car today. Despite being a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria (@ Joshs design, first time built IRL to my knowledge) it was kept in relatively good shape (being previously assigned to the head of the uniform standard division). This car is only temporary and will likely be broken down for parts when I'm in the process of getting stuff for more San Brickardo MOCs. Looking forward to building the rest of the 8th precinct soon!

  3. From the album: San Brickardo Police Department (SBPD)

Played around with some decals for @ Josh crown vic to fit my new department (SBPD) and here's my result. I think they look really good. Also made some really easy changes so it can fit a minifig. Thinking of adding those rear bumper stickers often see on LAPD cars (seen in this link: bumper stickers) What do you think?

  4. From the album: San Brickardo Police Department (SBPD)

So after adjusting @ Josh model I was able to get the crown VIC to hold a minifig with the tiniest bit of equipment. Will keep trying to get a full rifle in the back there lol. Opinions?

  5. From the album: San Brickardo Police Department (SBPD)

The inside of the parking pad is rather bare, with space marked by hazard stripes for the bi-folding gates to fold into and a small workstation with a couple of tools on clips, a bucket, and a toolbox for smaller accessories and spare parts. Credit goes to @Josh for the amazing Crown Vic design.

  6. From the album: San Brickardo Police Department (SBPD)

This is just a photo of a couple of uniformed officers carrying their duty bags and assigned rifles to their patrol, car (0742). Really happy with the new duffel bag design, and I will work harder on customizing the rifles to make them look more realistic. Might even try and make a beanbag shotgun version with a green barrel. Credit goes to @Josh for the amazing Crown Vic design. I might try to modify it even further to add an opening boot and the ability to sit a figure in it. the figure is basically almost already down, but the opening boot might be a bit more of an issue.

  7. From the album: San Brickardo Police Department (SBPD)

The parking pad is enclosed by a bi-folding automated gate, with intimidating spikes lining the top. Just for detail's sake, I added an intercom panel to the right which puts you thru to the receptionist who controls the gate. Credit goes to @Josh for the amazing Crown Vic design.

  8. From the album: San Brickardo Police Department (SBPD)

This creation is simply an extension I've been wanting to do on the modular police Station I built at the start of this year. I couldn't add the parking extension as it would be violating the "Modular Rule" (everything fitting inside of a 32x32 Baseplate). I also decided to make a backstory for this station, stating it belongs to a whole new department I've created (based on LAPD) and will be home of the "7th Precinct", a small dirty crime-ridden precinct located East of downtown. I'm still trying to come up with a name. I took feedback from @Ed O. into consideration and after adding a couple of police cars out front I think it looks a lot more link a police station. Credit goes to @ Josh for the amazing Crown Vic design. I'm considering posting photos (including interior shots) of the original station moc, let me know what you think.

  9. From the album: Bracket County Police Service

A couple of nice BCPS Crown Vics. Left to right: Traffic/detective, detective, patrol. This design is, not mine, it belongs to community member Josh and was used with his permission.
