Lots of trees and dirt roads. Here in New England our small towns have a small main street with shops, a town hall, etc. Oh and Dunkin Donuts is a must haha.

@Josh for me in Washington state its Starbucks. In the town I live in there's 3 in a 1 block radius. Its crazy

We give directions based on Dunkin and other landmarks that's how important it is haha.

  2. I've got good and bad news. Goodnews. The pieces I need came in! Bad news. I don't think I will be able to build a replica of cle elum volunteer fire department due to the fact I don't have to many parts to build rigs so I'd not have many bricks to build brick valley fire rescue with. I'm hoping I can eventually build one of my favorite depts!

  3. Ahh what a year. Ive improved so much this year. Id like to thank the builders that have helped me out.

For a special treat Id do a little comparison. Me vs my GF with building Legos. The top photo is me and my truck 5 and the bottom photo is Korena(GF) and what she calls a piece of crap. I just call it a Ferrara😅 thank you for a great year guys

  4. So in 10 days its my 1 year anniversary on Emergency Bricks. I'll do a special post on the day (Oct 25) when it comes. I've come along way with building. Now I can build these amazing rigs while me girlfriend can't even build a tree😅 (I'll have her send me a pic so I can do a comparison). Thanks for all the support.

  5. Any tips on how to do the body on this rig? I never have done red rollups on a rig. I've always done light grey. Plus I can't find a good design for the drop down ladder rack.

You can use the red 1x2 grill bricks.

@Joshua Bthanks man. Ill work on this in a few weeks since I have to do a bricklink order for the red profile bricks

  6. Sorry about my absence. School has been difficult and I'm in a new relationship so Ive been focused on that and not lego latley. I'm now finally planning to start building again and I have some cool stuff planned

  7. Hey. So...A little change for my dept. I've decided to go for a volunteer dept. There isn't to many volunteer depts in the LFC. My depts name will stay the same as this volunteer dept will serve brick county. Brick Elum is the only town in the county but there are some uncorporated communities in the county. The fleet will start out with 4 engines, a ladder truck, a rescue, a tanker, 2 medics, reserve engine and a brush truck. The only units built so far is 2 engines which I've already showed and a ladder truck which will be rebuilt. Eventually when I have more fire apparatus added to the fleet in the future the dept will change to a career/volunteer dept. Ill give you guys a sneak peak of one of the planned rigs😉

@Joshua B I would probably just use SNOT red grooved bricks

  9. Not so lego related but I wanted to show you guys the smoke from a wildfire on the east part of Washington state. God bless are you firefighters battling the blaze.

Nice!! I've been waiting on buying modulars because once you get one, all your other buildings look like crap in comparison. So you are forced to get them all!

    3. Rylie D

      Rylie D

@Rescue 423 I have a place that will make this thing fit in perfectly. @Joshua B and yes probably in a few weeks I will be setting it on "fire".

@Josh Yup that's the same thing I had in mind. @Rylie D Use curved slopes for the hood and the 3x6 45 degree windshield. Lmk if you need help with anything else!

    4. Joshua B

      Joshua B

Also if you wanna do it 5-wide I know of a way for that too but it'll have to wait till I get back home

  12. So....School😞. So for now on all my building will take place on Wednesdays and weekends. I have classes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:45 to 3:05. After a long day of staring at a screen I'm tired and I'm not in the mood to build. So Mocs will be slow moving.

    1. Josh

      Josh

yeah, I know the feeling. I did online college classes last two years of highschool. it really does tire you out.

  13. I found some more pics of the rig. I plan on starting it soon but school is starting so we will see about that😉

      Michael P.

ah yes... the original Rosenbauer Commander haha..... if only LEGO made trans-clear or trans-black corner tiles....

    4. Michael P.

      Michael P.

this is  pretty old school in terms of building techniques and wheels, but this is what I had for that particular cab modelUntitledModel.thumb.png.bde3902a761068cdca074f06c269a268.png

  15. So...I've decided instead of having a rescue engine I would build a heavy rescue so the planned rescue engine will become the 3rd frontline pumper. There's a fourth planned but that will be a reserve pumper
