  1. Remember when there used to be pictures of real brick-built models in the gallery?

I try to do as much brick built as I can, but money is tight..

      I'm working on it.

Sounds like ancient times to me.

  2. I'm baaaaaaaaack. Updates on the way soon!

  3. I have a dilemma. Currently station 3 doesn't run an ambulance. Their engine is a 1992 Pierce Javelin. Their district is rural and the closest ambulance is coming from station 1. Should I keep the Javelin and have a Rescue/Pumper running from station 3 or

I will agree with Harrison! But you can do other chassises as well! The Javelin could be a reserve and Station 3 could run a transport engine and medic.

I think I just may do that. It'll be a little while before it could actually happen though. I'm currently in the hunt for a job and don't have much spare cash for parts.

Cool, can't wait to see when the time comes around. Good luck on the job hunt!

  4. http://greatereaglebrickfd.weebly.com/ Gave the website a face lift! New theme, all new apparatus pics and hopefully some new incidents on the way.

  6. Crazy day so far for Macedonia Fire and I'm not there to take part...

    1. Legofire23

Rootstown has been getting slammed too. 24 runs in 2 shifts which is 8 days worth of call for them. They have had a full arrest, a MVA with entrapment and last night my dad and his shift responded to Randolph for a fully involved house fire. It's just that time of year I think.

Macedonia had 3 in a 5 minute span yesterday. 2 were separate M/A calls. That was on top of their regular 4-5 a day. They had already logged 7 between the hours of 7 am and 6:30 pm. I don't even know how many they did overnight.

  7. Lots of ride time coming up with two different departments. Just waiting on the final ok from the Chief of one department.

Is the probation related to Explorers?

    3. Legofire23

Yes. They have to take you through the basics first and then they have to feel you're ready to ride.

That makes sense. The way Macedonia's is set up, I can ride on only my advisor's shift until I pass a test. After the test, I can ride on all 3.

  8. I was just named President of my police explorers post!

What does a president explorer do?

    3. Michael Morrison

@Dakota,the president runs the meetings, organizes events, maintains equipment and keeps track of attendance. Basically aids the advisers in any way they need.
