Here are a couple more views of one my RAM pickups. Credit of course to Michael P for the front and CC for the tow mirrors. It is a 2019 RAM 2500 12v Cummins 5.9l with a 6" lift on 37.5"s. Pretty much my dream truck It has blacked out headlights, taillights, and badging, and color matched bumpers and grille And a gooseneck hitch in the bed, along with a removable tool box.

What do y'all think, 4x4 or 6x6 for a crash unit? It'll be my only crash unit so I'm debating between agility and tank size/more compartment space. Keep in mind there will also be a small RIV and a tandem axle pumper tanker stationed at the airport.

Hereโ€™s another pic of my city. Iโ€™ve since made some progress on the station and some houses too. Donโ€™t pay any attention to MonsterMax rolling through haha if you look to the lower right corner you might spot a couple of new rigs ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Anybody got ideas for the layout of a 5 bay station? Iโ€™m not liking my first try, especially the white windows. By the way it doesnโ€™t have to be built for a corner or anything, it can go pretty much anywhere.

So in 10 days its my 1 year anniversary on Emergency Bricks. I'll do a special post on the day (Oct 25) when it comes. I've come along way with building. Now I can build these amazing rigs while me girlfriend can't even build a tree๐Ÿ˜… (I'll have her send me a pic so I can do a comparison). Thanks for all the support.

It finally dawned on me, while staring at a breathtaking landscape of the Rocky Mountains capped in snow, how to connect the SNOT compartments that @Michael P. (as well as several others) used on his rigs a couple years ago. Unfortunately this technique is too expensive for me to use on all my rigs, but it may or may not be used on one or two soon ๐Ÿ˜

Hey guys, in case you were curious on how my Mini Brush Truck project is going here is a picture. In CAD it measures a bit bigger than your average golf cart. For power it will be electronically driven, and it will have two separate power systems. One for drive (48 volt) one for lighting and fun stuff (12V) This project will run me about 3-5 thousand USD...which is 5 thousand less than buying a pre-built, electric go kart or UTV...plus this one is more fun. I got inspired to design it after seeing Cherry Grove's Fire trucks (which are basically red golf carts with a 500 GPM pump strapped on the back lol). This project is also a future, multi year project, so don't expect any IRL pics for a few years lol. Oh yeah, and the wheels are just place holders.

So I've downsized my fleet to just stations 2, 3, and 4 (plus the Marine station) for the moment, Station 1 might be back soon but I'm not sure. Station 4 is currently headquarters. I'm also building just a few ARFF units, keep an eye out for them!

Here's a few progress pics of what I got done today in my city, enjoy! I started with moving the sidewalk of the Pet Shop onto a road baseplate, and then I started laying out some of my new road baseplates (I bought 3 packs which worked out pretty good with what I already had) and did as much of the sidewalks and curbs as I could before ordering parts, then put the townhouses and church back (they're about the only things that will stay), laid out some more road baseplates, and started on the fire station, and lastly, did some more work on the curbs and sidewalks and (sort of) finished the station. Honestly not crazy happy with it, I'll post some better pics soon and y'all can tell me what you think. It's lit with some third party lighting off amazon, and yes, that is a broken cable ๐Ÿ˜‚ the wires are pretty flimsy haha

I put up some pics of that multi-structure fire on my site last night, check em out! Tbh it wasn't much of an incident, I just needed the buildings to go to make room for some big improvements coming to my town ๐Ÿ˜‚Pretty much just set some smoke and a couple rigs there lol https://algonquinfd.weebly.com/news--incidents/greater-alarm-fire Speaking of buildings and improvements, what do y'all think of this little faรงade I whipped up last night? I'm thinking I'll build a few of these to basically serve as place holders in my planned new downtown area as I slowly build/buy better modulars. To give you a bit of an idea of my future plans for my little piece of Algonquin, I plan on partially redoing my layout to incorporate a small modular street, improved LCSD and AFD stations, a small waterfront where Marine 1 and Dive Rescue 3 will be stationed, a campground / woodsy type area AND hopefully 2 plate tall curbs ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Ideally I plan on having most of this done within a year but you know how that goes ๐Ÿ˜‚ Let's just say my city will probably be torn up for a looooong time lol

You guys seem interested, so here is my Go-Kart Brush Truck CAD Model. It is a little bigger than a Golf Cart. I have a High-school robotics background (My specialty was electronics and Code...I was the lead programmer my senior year) so I decided to give Go-Kart design a go.

I am getting to a point where I am happy enough with my Expedition design(in terms of looks and strength). I think when I go home on thanksgiving break I will find all the pieces I can, then put in a bricklink order for the ones I cant find. After that, I will finally have a battalion for the first time in...a long time. Once that is done, I will work with Brickstuff to design a custom lighting setup for it. should be cool! Other news includes: The North District getting a second Truck Company. It will be a Pierce (might me my first Arrow XT design ). Oh and just for fun, I have been doing little adjustments to my Ferrara truck:

Ahh what a year. Ive improved so much this year. Id like to thank the builders that have helped me out. For a special treat Id do a little comparison. Me vs my GF with building Legos. The top photo is me and my truck 5 and the bottom photo is Korena(GF) and what she calls a piece of crap. I just call it a Ferrara๐Ÿ˜… thank you for a great year guys

need some help gang. (going to do an Instagram poll too) I have two South District Towers: Truck 124 (currently a seagrave tiller) And Truck 134 (The ferrara RMA) I am working on a new RMA platform design, should it replace Truck 124, or should I just assign a new truck company to The north district? (which currently only has one: truck 350)

Any tips on how to do the body on this rig? I never have done red rollups on a rig. I've always done light grey. Plus I can't find a good design for the drop down ladder rack.

Big things be coming ๐Ÿ˜ฌ See if you can spot the rig in this pic Although I've been back from the Rockies for several weeks, since ya'll seemed to like those canyon pics I decided to use some of the (slightly less grand) scenery in my own yard, so pics of this latest one will be taken from the top of a 20' drop off ๐Ÿ˜‚ In all fairness, it doesn't look as steep in the pics haha Also when I get the pics off my camera, Mt Rushmore might be involved somehow ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Hello everyone! I am willing to start up a digital quarterly newspaper for the Lego Fire Community! Kind of like the one suggested by @30House in the forum. It would include: -(Hopefully) a blog or something that repeats in every issue kind of like the one written by the amazing @Michael P.. -A section where readers send in an email with a question. -A section for fleet profiles and large incidents responded too by departments -A section that repeats every issue with 2 tutorials for tools/equipment -And a section with news about big things that happened in the Lego Community. It would be a free magazine that I would be willing to format, but I definitely would need help! Need people too: -Answer the questions readers would send in -Do some tutorials -Write articles.. If you want to do any of the following job, please reply below with the job you want to do! I am working on hopefully getting this thing a website and Instagram account to hopefully get this some publicity! I would like to get a Winter 2020 issue out, so lets all come together and make this happen!

Not really lego, but I am currently CAD designing a GoKart that looks like a brush truck. Probably not gonna build it IRL for a few years because I have not welded anything before, money is a thing, etc... but hey it's a neat little project lol. If you want to see my progress, I can post them once and awhile on my status.

I was having some trouble with EB and stuff not loading, so I though I might as well sign out and try too sign back in. Me being the smart guy I am didn't write down my passcode and I have been trying all weekend to get back in. I am back in and I am DEFINITELY writing down my passcode.
