  1. From the album: Josh's Digital

@west_coastlegofire on instagram told me about this new "luminous" feature, where bricks can light up in a studio render. here is a test!

So after adjusting @ Josh model I was able to get the crown VIC to hold a minifig with the tiniest bit of equipment. Will keep trying to get a full rifle in the back there lol. Opinions?

Good looking pair I would say. This is the NMCSO scheme.

  7. I'm working on a fix for this too lol

  8. Same here lol. I think for now my only police cruisers will be these two + the BCPD F150.

  9. Move the mirrors up one stud so they are directly behind the hood and use these pieces BrickLink - Part 44301 : Lego Hinge Plate 1 x 2 Locking with 1 Finger On End (Undetermined Type) [Hinge] - BrickLink Reference Catalog They're slightly underscaled, but way better then most other options.

Under the suggestion of @Joshua B I updated the rear connection path between the parking pad and the rear door, while still keeping an aces point to the rest of the rear of the station. The entire area is protected by a spike strip on the top of the wall (which now continues all the way down the back wall and partway around the far side) and the entire area is monitored by CCTV. Because the area is so out of view from the rest of the station I added a panic button so officers can get emergency help if a suspect they are transporting decides to attack them.

  11. Besides the mirrors being way too clunking IMO, it looks really good!

  12. Definitely look good! Can't wait to see these guys decaled lol.

  13. Ok so it took forever but I was able to get it so @ Josh's crown vic will hold a single minifig, a traffic cone, and a pistol. I'm going to keep working on it until i can get a rifle held in there. Still a very good looking model.

  14. I think I saw something about that on BL a few months ago. It works well on the headlights, but it just looks like you used a megablok on the light bar and taillights. Still need to fix that grille 🤪

  15. In that case, shouldn’t the wall wrap around the back of the building a few studs to eliminate the need to open and close those two doors and increase the risk of an escape?

The inside of the parking pad is rather bare, with space marked by hazard stripes for the bi-folding gates to fold into and a small workstation with a couple of tools on clips, a bucket, and a toolbox for smaller accessories and spare parts. Credit goes to @Josh for the amazing Crown Vic design.

  17. Really the only thing that could use changing besides the added clip, is the stock. But it’s plenty good as is for me.

  18. I just checked the original file, I have them the right way.

  19. Here’s a couple. The angle of the minifig hand perfectly replicates the curved clip of an AR.

  20. Well I guess comparing it to the real car it is realistic, but the other Josh had them the other way. I’ll get you a pic tonight or tomorrow. It’s not really customized, your just add a minifig hand but it makes it so much better

  21. I would make it another full 32x32, but widen the building 8 studs so it’s partially on the parking areas baseplate. Just because 32x32 is a lil much for a parking area alone, an it needs to still be divisible by a 16x32

  22. Thanks! Here's where we have an issue. I want to keep them within a 16x32 baseplate, and utilizing all of the baseplate for the parking pad, this is all the space I was able to harvest.

The parking pad is enclosed by a bi-folding automated gate, with intimidating spikes lining the top. Just for detail's sake, I added an intercom panel to the right which puts you thru to the receptionist who controls the gate. Credit goes to @Josh for the amazing Crown Vic design.

  24. How so? Some pictures of custom made guns would definitely be appreciated, as I am still quite new to this.

This last photo shows the connection between the back exit I originally included (as per the "modular rule" and the parking pad, where suspects could be transferred straight to booking. The area is protected by a barred door and CCTV camera. Credit goes to @Josh for the amazing Crown Vic design.

  26. You got the license plate lights totally backwards on the vic! Lol besides that, looks good. I have found the most realistic gun that can be simply made, is to take the standard black machine gun, and clip a black minifig hand to it in front of the trigger area. It replicates the clip of an AR or AK perfectly. I’ll try and get some pics tomorrow if you want.

  27. Hmm, I’m thinking it might look better with a plain black door like the building has. The bars just don’t really fit IMO.

  28. I’m a big fan of those spikes! They just need to go all the way around. Nice idea with the intercom too!

  29. Very nice, just needs to be a bit bigger!

  30. Looks awesome! I would make the parking area wide enough for at least 2 cars and put those spikes you have on the doors all around the top of the wall (I love that detail btw), but it looks great!

  31. You said something about it being a bit too plain and not recognizable as a police station.

  32. My apologies, but I don't recall commenting on this in the past. What feedback did I give?
