The Blog Version 2.0- New name?

Rescue 423

So, as many people (I assume everyone whos reading this) knows, Emergency bricks had a server crash in which many of the content it held was lost. Luckily, thanks to the hard work of Dakota, it is back from the dead. Among the things lost was my blog, but Dakota exceeded himself once again and was able to give me limited access to the old site to get the a couple issues of the blog. I have copied them all into Google Documents, and the links below are open for everyone, so if anyone wanted to view some of the older blog posts, they are available below:

*Exclusive Review* New Engine 5

Brickston brush fire

Emergency Task force Training Exercise

First Stud.io Build Completed

And last (and IMO best) LCPF Public Safety Response Team FAQ

I also still have a copy of the tutorial for converting the 2021 Modular into a much better version, and I am still deciding whether to share that at this point.

To represent this new era for "The Blog" I decided to change the first thing I chose about it, the name. Suggestions are encouraged! (The usual, keep it appropriate, don't diss anyone, and one fire/Lego related would be preferred). I would like to have a new name chosen by the next issue, so get to it! I really am excited to hear some cool, creative suggestions!

In other news, if you have any suggestions in relation to where this blog is going, what things I should steer clear of, and what things I should do more of, I would love to hear your feedback! Thinking of doing a floor-by-floor tour of my giant 7 floor police HQ in a my next entry, what do you think?

Definitely check out blockheads, a new, more up-to-date version of Mocpages that has just been launched! https://blockheads.builders/

To end it off today a picture of my new ETF (Emergency Task Force-basically the SWAT) truck. The truck isn't new, but the armor and other details are. The extra details include a megaphone, multiple security cameras, shielding, roof hatch, handrails and long range antennas. What do you think? And yes, it can hold all 4 ETF members, their shields, additional equipment (masks, night vision, shields, guns, door rams, batons) plus a driver. That explains its length! Its based off a 2010 Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van.

Thanks for reading and Happy New Year!
